Legal Agreement

Musicgroups.com User Agreement:

Musicgroups.com represents a collective network of music related web sites. Musicgroups.com, hereafter referred to as MG, will always make it’s best effort to maintain and operate their free web sites, but MG makes no warranties. The registered applicant hereafter referred to as The User, will always except the MG network in an “as is” condition. MG makes no warranties that any of the MG content is true, accurate, and free of errors or omissions.. This contract, here after referred to as, The Agreement, consists of the following Terms and Conditions:

MG excepts no responsibility for any expenses incurred by The User, from any situations beyond MG’s control, which includes but is not limited to: internet access fees, utilities, software or hardware costs, licensing fees, or any expenses incurred by The User, as a result of access to any offsite links provided by MG thru their MG network.

MG and all of it’s employees, partners, or affiliates are to be held harmless of any liabilities, for any damages the User receives from any use of the MG network.

In reference to any band registrations, MG makes no warranties or rulings involving any band name registration dispute. MG will provide all parties entangled in such a dispute; any MG evidence useful in the litigation of said dispute. MG is in no way to ever be considered a legally recognized band registry.

The User completely agrees to comply with all laws,( including copyright and trademark law), which govern transmissions of any and all data via the internet. Prohibited content includes, but is not limited to; abusive or threatening content, hacking or cracking materials adult or sexual graphic and or vulgar materials racism invasions of privacy, or promotions of any criminal activities. These prohibited materials and contents, if posted to The User’s website can or will be grounds for MG to terminate any or all of TheUser’s rights and privileges pertaining to the MG network. Any illegal content will be immediately archived, the site or sites will be terminated, and said evidence will be surrendered to the proper legal authorities.

The User is solely responsible for posting to their MG website, only data The User is legally permitted to contribute to the MG network. The User warrants they are the legal owner of all such postings, and agrees to hold MG harmless and indemnify MG in conjunction with all posted data and or any litigation arising from these activities.

If The User provides MG any type of content, The User does so for free of charge. The User will receive no payment for any content delivered to MG, unless declared in a separate written agreement between MG and The User.

MG always retains the rights to edit, modify, delete, or change any portion of The User’s website, but afore mentioned actions are to never be considered by The User as any type or form of censorship.

The User is aware that at MG’s discretion MG might have to alter or add conditions to The Agreement. The User will always except all modifications to The Agreement. MG will post any changes to The Agreement in MG’s newsletter. It will always be The Users responsibility to monitor these conditions. Continued use of the MG network is considered by MG acceptance of all alterations made by MG to The Agreement. If a modification occurs that The User can not comply to, then it is The User’s obligation to notify MG and terminate The Agreement.

MG in no way ever does or will discriminate against anyone because of their age, race, gender, lifestyle, religion, or anything else. MG expects The User to conduct themselves in a like manner regarding their use of all MG activities.

Jurisdiction of The Agreement will be governed by California law, and any actions relating to The Agreement must be filed in a state or federal court located in Los Angeles County California. U.S.A. All parties do hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of California law.

Acceptance of The Agreement will remain enforceable until either MG or The User notifies the other party in writing regarding termination of The Agreement.

I, The User, have carefully and entirely read The Agreement. By adding my initials to any of the MG‘s, sign up forms, I, The User, do completely promise to obey all terms and conditions, set forth in The Agreement. I, The User am well aware that any violation of The Agreement could result in my MG website privileges being terminated either temporarily or permanently.
